Orbis provides two ways to find things quickly: global search for finding records across your CRM, and the command palette for navigating and taking actions from anywhere.

Command palette

Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux) from anywhere in Orbis to open the command palette. The command palette lets you:
  • Search across contacts, companies, notes, interactions, and tags
  • Navigate to any page (Contacts, Inbox, Calendar, Boards, etc.)
  • Create records (new contact, note, task, message)
  • Run actions (toggle theme, open settings)
Start typing to filter results. Results are grouped by entity type — contacts, interactions, and notes — with a 2-character minimum for search.
You can also open the command palette with Cmd+Shift+P or by pressing / from any non-input context.
Global search provides a unified search across all your data:
  • Contacts — by name, email, company, title, and enrichment data
  • Companies — by name, domain, industry, and description
  • Notes — full-text search across note content
  • Interactions — email threads, calendar events, and logged activity
  • Tags — find records by tag name

Search filters

Narrow results with built-in filters:
FilterOptions
PlatformGmail, Calendar, LinkedIn, etc.
TypeContact, company, note, interaction
Date rangeAfter, before, or between dates
TagFilter by specific tags
CompanyFilter by associated company
ContactFilter by associated contact

Autocomplete

As you type, Orbis suggests matching contacts, companies, and tags. Click a suggestion to jump directly to that record. For complex, semantic queries that go beyond keyword matching, use Deep Search. Deep Search understands natural language and searches across your entire CRM using AI.
