AI Drafts lets Orbis write email replies and outreach messages for you. Each draft is personalized using your full relationship history — past emails, calendar events, notes, and enrichment data for that contact.

How AI drafts work

When you request a draft, Orbis:
  1. Reads the conversation thread (for replies) or the contact’s full profile (for new outreach)
  2. Pulls in relationship context — email history, calendar events, notes, interaction signals
  3. Generates a personalized draft using AI
  4. Saves it for your review before sending
You always review and edit before sending — AI drafts are never sent automatically.

Generating a reply draft

Open a thread

Select an email thread in the Inbox.

Generate a draft

Click Generate reply in the thread toolbar or row action menu. Orbis reads the conversation and writes a contextual reply.

Review and edit

The compose window opens with the AI-generated draft. Edit as needed.

Send

Click Send when you’re ready. The reply is sent via your connected Gmail account.

Generating drafts for contacts

You can generate outreach drafts for individual contacts or in batch:

Single contact

From a contact’s profile, click Generate AI Draft. Choose a goal template:

Batch drafts

Select up to 20 contacts in the contacts list, then choose Generate Drafts from the bulk actions toolbar. Each contact gets a personalized draft based on their individual profile and your relationship history.

The Generated Drafts folder

All AI-generated drafts are saved to the Generated Drafts folder in your Inbox sidebar. From here you can:
  • Review each draft before sending
  • Edit the AI-generated content
  • Send individual drafts or use Send All Drafts
  • Discard drafts you don’t want to send

Drafts in campaigns

When you add contacts to a campaign, Orbis automatically generates a draft for each contact based on the campaign’s goal. These drafts appear in the campaign’s contact table and follow the same review-before-send flow. See Campaigns for details on campaign-specific draft generation.
AI drafts preserve both the original generated text and your edits separately. If you edit a draft and want to start over, you can revert to the AI-generated version.
