# Settings

> Manage your profile, notifications, connected accounts, appearance, billing, and data preferences.

Access Settings by clicking your avatar in the sidebar and choosing **Settings**, or by pressing `Cmd+,` (`Ctrl+,` on Windows/Linux).

## Profile

The **Profile** section lets you update your personal and company information. Orbis uses this context to personalize AI drafts and enrich your data.

### Personal information

| Field                      | Description                                                                                                   |

| **First name / Last name** | Your display name throughout Orbis                                                                            |
| **Email**                  | Your primary login email (managed through your Google account)                                                |
| **Personal email**         | An alternate email used for profile enrichment — add a personal Gmail if your primary address is a work email |
| **Bio**                    | A short description about yourself                                                                            |
| **URLs**                   | Links to your website, LinkedIn, or social profiles                                                           |
| **Language**               | Your preferred language for the Orbis interface                                                               |

### Company information

| Field                   | Description                                                       |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Company domain**      | Your company's website URL (e.g., `https://acme.com`)             |
| **Your role**           | Your job function (Founder, Sales, Engineering, etc.)             |
| **Company description** | What your company does and what you want to accomplish with Orbis |

Orbis uses the company description to write better AI-drafted emails on your behalf.

### Security

Orbis accounts are secured through Google. To manage passwords, two-factor authentication, and security keys, visit your [Google Account security settings](https://myaccount.google.com/security).

## Notifications

The **Notifications** section controls when and how Orbis alerts you.

### In-app notifications

Choose which activity triggers in-app notifications:

* **All new messages** — notify for every new message
* **Direct messages and mentions** — notify only when you're mentioned or messaged directly
* **Nothing** — disable in-app notifications

### Email notifications

| Toggle                   | Controls                                                |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Communication emails** | Emails about your account activity                      |
| **Marketing emails**     | Product updates, new features, and announcements        |
| **Social emails**        | Follows, connection requests, and similar activity      |
| **Security emails**      | Account security alerts (always on, cannot be disabled) |

Click **Update notifications** to save your changes.

## Connected accounts

The **Connected Accounts** section shows which third-party accounts are linked to Orbis.

Orbis currently supports:

* **Google** — sync Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts
* **LinkedIn** — import your connections archive

Managing a connected account (reconnecting, revoking access, or checking sync status) is done from the **Integrations** section. See [Google integration](/integrations/google) and [LinkedIn integration](/integrations/linkedin) for step-by-step instructions.

## Appearance

### Theme

Orbis supports light mode, dark mode, and system-default mode. Switch themes from the appearance settings, or cycle through all three with the keyboard shortcut `Cmd+Shift+L` (`Ctrl+Shift+L` on Windows/Linux).

### Language

Select your preferred language from the dropdown. Orbis supports right-to-left (RTL) layouts for Arabic, Hebrew, and other RTL languages — the entire interface reflows automatically when an RTL language is selected.

## Billing and subscription

The **Billing** section shows your current plan and available features.

### Free plan

The free plan includes:

* Up to 500 contacts
* 1 connected email account
* Basic search and filtering
* Email sync
* Calendar sync

### Pro plan

The Pro plan adds:

* Unlimited contacts
* Up to 5 connected email accounts
* Team members and collaboration
* Advanced search and filtering
* Advanced integrations
* Activity audit logs
* Priority support

Click **Upgrade to Pro** to start a Pro subscription. Billing history and invoices appear in this section once you're on the Pro plan.

## Data & privacy

### Export your data

To export all of your data from Orbis, contact support. A full data export includes your contacts, notes, campaigns, custom object records, and settings.

### Delete your account

To permanently delete your account, scroll to the **Danger Zone** section on the Profile settings page and click **Delete Account**.

  Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your contacts, notes, campaigns, boards, custom objects, and settings will be deleted immediately.

You'll be asked to confirm before deletion proceeds. After your account is deleted, any connected Google and LinkedIn integrations are automatically disconnected.

## Keyboard shortcuts

Orbis is designed for keyboard-first use. Press `?` anywhere in the app to open the full keyboard shortcuts reference panel.
